Patent Office (PTO) fees
These fees are paid to the United States Patent and Trademark Office in addition to our flat fee. What you pay depends on your entity size. Micro-entity status is available if your gross personal income last year was below $251,190 (2026 USPTO limit), and you have not been named on more than four non-provisional applications in the United States in your lifetime. Ask your practitioner if you have questions about this.
